More than 1200 swashbuckling yellow rubber ducks took to the waters of Honey Creek on Thursday morning for the Rockale Senior Center's eighth annual Rubber Ducky Race. The ticket holders whose ducks crossed the finish line first won prizes such as golf packages, electronics and gift cards to area restaurants. This year's race took on a pirate theme, with plenty of patches, tri-cornered hats and swords to boot. Here's a few scenes (check back later for video).
