Heritage High School's Model Arab League team celebrated yet another victory at Marist Jan. 24 and 25 and took home another Outstanding Delegation for its representation of Iraq.

Out of the 23 countries represented, Heritage was one of several that earned the highest award for its delegation. Model Arab League, similar to Model UN, is a debate organization based off the League of Arab States. While keeping their repsective country's needs in mind, students debate in committees including Palestinian Affairs, Social Affairs, Political Affairs, Environmental Affairs, and Joint Defense Council.

Outstanding Delegate, the highest individual achievement, was awarded to Sarah Michelson, David Rosemon, Emily Taylor, and Abby Taylor. Delegates that recieved Honorable Mentions included Amber Garnett, Matison Lakstigala, and Alex Caldwell.

Heritage High School keeps its highly reputable participation in the Atlanta High School Model Arab League and says goodbye to its seniors (left to right) Lyndal Bedford, Amber Garnett, Abby Taylor, David Rosemon, and Matison Lakstigala and is already planning for next year's Model Arab League.
