Rockdale may have entered Tuesday night's playoff game as the lower seed and road team, but the Lady Bulldogs boasted something to overcome both of those.

Breanna Richardson scored 32 points in Rockdale's 77-66 win over Douglas County Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs earned a second-round matchup against the winner of Wednesday's North Cobb-Coffee game. If No. 1 seed North Cobb wins, the Lady Bulldogs will go on the road. But if fourth-seed Coffee County wins, Rockdale will host the sweet 16 contest.

Rockdale led at halftime, and held off the Lady Tigers, despite Santasia Faust's 22 points, and another 15 by Amadi Brooks.

Rockdale finished as the third seed in Region 2-AAAAAA after beating Luella in the region's third place game Saturday.

Douglas lost the Region 3-AAAAAA championship to Langston Hughes 68-62.
