A special Lenten Worship and Luncheon will be held at Conyers First United Methodist Church in Conyers, Georgia on February 17 at noon with the luncheon to follow at 12:30 p.m. This event is open to the community and childcare is available 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Dr. John Beyers, senior minister of Conyers First UMC and Rev. Tom Sparks, pastor of the Conyers Presbyterian Church invite the public for this special worship service to include the imposition of ashes in the sign of the cross upon the forehead of those attending. Special music will be played.

Following the worship service in the sanctuary a simple luncheon of soup, salad and bread will be provided in the fellowship hall. All donations received will go to the FUMC Conyers Missions Committee.
